Amendment is to change to Brand Name or equal and extend the closing date to 5/21/2020 @ 5:00PM EDT. ************************************************************************************************ Solicitation Information All quotes/responses shall be submitted via email to Maria Sproul at maria.sproul@navy.mil no later than 1:00PM Eastern Standard Time on 08 May 2020. Solicitation N0042120Q0237 is issued as a brand name procurement. The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis, and to solicit and award the proposed purchase order on a brand name basis for Microsemi Corporation Products as items listed, under the authority implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) byFAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13. Offeror’s must be registered in the System for Award Management Registration (SAM) database prior to submission of an offer to be considered for award of any DoD contract. This may be accomplished electronically at http://www.sam.gov. Vendor must be Microsemi Corporation Authorized Distributor/Reseller. Items must be covered under the Manufacturer’s Warranty. This is a firm fixed-price procurement; therefore, the offeror’s initial offer should represent the vendor’s best quotein terms of price and technical acceptability. Your quote will only be evaluated on the information you provide. Solicitation closing date/time is firm; proposals received after the deadline will not be accepted. Your quote must contain enough technical information i.e. data sheet, drawing, specification, etc. for evaluation. Your quote will onlybe evaluated based on the information provided. The award will be made on the basis of lowest evaluated price ofproposals meeting or exceeding the acceptability standards. This is a firm fixed-price procurement; therefore, theinitial offer should represent the vendor’s best quote in terms of price and technical acceptability. A determination by the Government not to accept the proposal for not meeting the minimum requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government.
