Solicitation N0042120Q0028 is issued as an intent to sole source. The Government under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) FAR Part 13 intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis, and to solicit and award the proposed purchase order on a sole source basis with SUN DISPLAY SYSTEMS, LLC, under the authority implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13.106-1(b). Sun Display Systems, LLC is the manufacturer and distributor of Non-Ruggedized Faceplates and the only source capable of providing the above FacePlates to meet the environmental requirements and having current approval for safety. Offerors must be currently registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to submission of an offer to be considered for award of any DoD contract. This may be accomplished electronically at http://www.sam.gov. This procurement is a total set-aside for small business under the authority of FAR Part 52.219-6. -Delivery needed by 12/30/2019 -If another vendor can provide a quote for the same exact item/Part Number, they must be an authorized distributer with Sun Display Systems, LLC and be able to provide the manufactures warranty. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The government will not pay for any information received.
