INTRODUCTION The Naval Air Warfare Center- Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) United States Naval Test Pilot School (USNTPS) (5.1) at Patuxent River, MD announces its intention to procure on a firm fixed-price basis, and to solicit and negotiate the proposed purchase order on a sole source basis with Bussman Aviation LLC. 2026 Labrador Lane, Vienna, VA 22182 (Cage: 3U9K2) for the purchase of 17 Flight demonstration hours in a MD500 aircraft to support USNTPS Qualitative Evaluation Exercise. Under the authority of FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13, this announcement is a Request for Quote (RFQ). ELIGIBILITY This requirement is being synopsized as an unrestricted acquisition under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 611512, Size Standard of $30M; PSC Code R499. All interested businesses are encouraged to respond. Specifically, the Government is evaluating the possibility of establishing this requirement as a Small Business/Other Socio-economic Set-Aside. ANTICIPATED ERIOD OF PERFORMANCE 25 October 2019 TO 08 November 2019 ANTICIPATED CONTRACT TYPE This is a firm-fixed price procurement; therefore, the offeror's initial offer should represent the vendor's best quote in terms of price and acceptability.
