The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Aircraft Division, Patuxent River (also referred to as the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD)) intends to award a Sole Source modification under an existing Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract N00421-19-D-0076 to American Electronic Warfare Associates (AMEWAS) Inc. to provide continued support of aircraft prototyping requirements that include nonrecurring engineering and manufacturing activities for spiral development, mission system integration, and test and evaluation programs. This acquisition is a bridge effort for continued contract support until the competitive follow-on contract (N00421-23-R-0051) is awarded. The ordering period for issuing task orders on this bridge contract is anticipated to be February 2024 to August 2024, once the competitive source selection for the follow-on contract is completed, NAWCAD will immediately transition performance on the bridge contract to the competitively awarded contract vehicle.? The primary place of performance is Patuxent River, MD. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on any responses received is solely at the discretion of the Government.
