The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) awarded a sole source, cost plus fixed fee order under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00421-15-G-0001 to Sierra Nevada Corporation, Sparks, NV for the procurement of engineering support services through Initial Operational Capability (IOC). This tasking is applicable to the AN/SPN-35C Landing System Upgrade Program (LSUP), Aircraft Control Approach Central Radar Set and Inspection Analysis and Overhaul of ATC&LS Equipment Block I Upgrade. This acquisition was pursued on a sole-source basis under statutory authority of Title 10, U.S.C. Section 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." A determination by the Government not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government. This effort is covered under the Class Justification and Approval (CJ&A) number 17_0379, dated 17 November 2017.
