The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) awarded a sole source, cost plus fixed fee order under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00421-15-G-0001 to Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC), Sparks, NV for tasking to provide technical personnel that are familiar with the SNC designed ATC&LS equipment to assist in correcting the problems designated in hardware and software Trouble Reports (TRs) and Engineering Analysis tasking that will be provided by the Government. This acquisition was pursued on a sole-source basis under statutory authority of Title 10, U.S.C. Section 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." A determination by the Government not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government. This effort is covered under the Class Justification and Approval (CJ&A) number 17_0379, dated 17 November 2017.
