NAVAIR PMA202 is conducting market research through this Sources Sought to determine whether enough qualified interested contractors can manufacture and deliver SVSI, with the requirement likely to be released as an OTA Statement of Need requesting white papers. No exact timing for the white-paper request is currently available; the Government anticipates a five-year IDIQ solicitation in FY2027 and will provide a TDP with the solicitation for the vest. Interested respondents should describe their capability and experience manufacturing similar equipment, relevant past performance, experience with Critical Safety Items, and production capacity for anticipated annual quantities of 260 to 1,543 with potential to go higher. The Government states it does not possess or own data rights necessary to distribute for the LPU. Interested parties must copy both listed PCO and contract specialist contacts on responses, and telephonic responses will not be accepted.
