The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division at Patuxent River, MD intends to award a delivery order under a Basic Ordering Agreement to Collins Aerospace of Cedar Rapids, IA for integration support of AN/ARC-210/RT-1990A(C) Gen5A and AN/ARC-210/RT-2036(C) Gen6 radios into F/A-18 and EA-18 aircraft. The effort includes integration support, participation in Technical Interchange Meetings and Configuration Control Board meetings with PMA209, PMA265, Advanced Weapons Lab (China Lake), and Boeing, and platform-specific modifications to radio software and documentation. This is pursued on a sole-source basis because Collins Aerospace is the only responsible source and will not provide the technical data needed for competitive procurement.
