The Naval Air Systems Command intends to award a sole-source delivery order to BAE Systems for engineering and technical services related to Low Probability of Intercept Radar Altimeters (LPIA). The contractor must provide production, engineering, logistics support, and delivery of LPIA units that conform to current specifications and work with existing aircraft antennas. BAE Systems is the only company with the data rights and capabilities to modify, produce, and support this system. Performance of services will be at Patuxent River, MD, and Wayne, NJ.
