The Naval Air Systems Command intends to negotiate and award a sole source, firm fixed price delivery order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00421-19-G-0004 with Martin-Baker Aircraft Company, Ltd(MBA), Higher Denham, Middlesex, England to deliver a quantity of twenty-one (21) Thermal Battery Assemblies, Type: CWDR, P/N: MBEU147990, NSN: 6315-01-393-4746 in support of the Navy Aircrew Common Ejection Seat (NACES) sustainment. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Martin-Baker Aircraft Company, Ltd is the sole designer, developer and manufacturer of the Navy Aircrew Common Ejection Seats (NACES) that are currently deployed throughout the fleet and as such is the only source with the requisite knowledge and experience necessary to meet this requirement.
