This solicitation will utilize simplified procedures for soliciting competition, evaluation, award documentation and notification that comply with FAR 13.5. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation number is N00421-22-Q-0273. It is the Government's intent to award a firm-fixed-price purchase order. This requirement is set-aside 100% for small businesses; all qualified Contractors are encouraged to submit a quote. It is the contractor's responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Contracts Department, Patuxent River, MD on behalf of the Aircraft Prototype Systems Division is seeking Contractors to provide anodizing service to Government Furnished Property (GFP) in accordance with the specifications listed in the Request for Quote (RFQ). The Contractor shall complete anodizing services in accordance with MIL-A-8625 Type I Class I on 88 PCS (parts) within the period of performance of May 2022 through September 2022. The contractor shall have the correct anodizing tanks and processes to provide a CoC meeting the MIL-A-8625 Type I Class I specification. Shipping and shipments shall be in accordance with the provided SOW. Upon completion of each lot the contractor shall provide a Certificate of Conformance as noted in the SOW. The contractor and any subcontractors shall provide any certifications (ISO / AS / NADCAP, etc.....) prior to award to ensure they are within quality standards of APSD. Quotes shall specifically address each requirement listed on this document along with the SOW. Partial quotes will NOT be evaluated by the Government.
