This is a NOTICE OF INTENT for the procurement of commercial items. This requirement is advertised as SOLE SOURCE. The Naval Air Warfare Center - Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), AIR-A251400, Patuxent River, MD has a requirement for procurement of Calibration Standards (CALSTDs) ancillary equipment for Aviation Fleet Intermediate Calibration Activities, Fleet Training Activities, and Aviation Navy Calibration Laboratories (NCLs) to support Aviation Organizational and Intermediate level maintenance assets. The Metrology Calibration (METCAL) Program supplies all the Navy and Marine Corp Calibration Laboratories test equipment worldwide. The requirement for these commercial items will be awarded as Firm-Fixed Price, on a sole source basis, to IET Labs, Inc. 1 Express Plaza #120, Roslyn Heights, NY 11577. The statutory authority permitting other than Full and Open Competition is USC 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The procedures of FAR Part 12 and 13.5 will be utilized for this commercial acquisition. The Government plans to release a solicitation during the fourth quarter of FY21. Please see attached draft Statement of Work (SOW), for specific requirement details and quantities. This Notice of Intent is for informational purposes only. Capability Statements will be considered solely for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government shall not reimburse interested sources for any information provided nor return any information provided.
