Solicitation N00421-20-Q-0255 issued as a combined synopsis/solicitation. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract, on a sole source requirement to North Star Imaging, 19875 S. Diamond Lake Rd, Rogers, MN 55347, Cage Code 0KGB3. This procurement is for Hardware and Software maintenance and support for NSI X5000 w/XWT-225-SE, SN: 15101206I. Additionally, North Star Imaging shall provide a preventive maintenance program that includes two 12-point Inspections performed on a bi-annual basis by NSI factor trained technicians and authorized imaging specialists, ending in the documentation of their findings & recommendations. This requirement is being established for the Materials Engineering Division, NAWCD-AIR- 4.3.4.3. The procedures of FAR Part 12 and 13.5 will be utilized for this commercial acquisition. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) Database prior to submission of an offer to be considered for award of any DOD contract. This may be accomplished electronically at http://www.sam.gov/vendor.cfm. This procurement is a total set-aside for small business under the authority of FAR Part 52.219-6. This is a firm fixed-price procurement; therefore, the Offerors initial offer should represent the vendor’s best quote in terms of price and technical acceptability.
