The Naval Air Systems Command intends to negotiate and award a sole source firm fixed price delivery order under the Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00421-18-G-0004 to East/West Industries, Inc. of Ronkonkoma, New York to procure 500 Oxygen Hoses (MBEU147724-1) required for the Enhanced Emergency Oxygen System (EEOS) for the Naval Aircrew Common Ejection Seat (NACES) to support the production of the SKU-10A seat kit. These kits are used in Aircraft configured with SJU-17 NACES ejection seats equipped with a small emergency oxygen bottle designed to provide backup 100% oxygen during ejection or during a variety of in-flight emergencies. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, responsible interested parties may submit a proposal in which they identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for any information received.
