The Naval Air System Command intends to contract on a sole source basis with Cam Lock, Ltd. 10 Springlakes Industrial Estate, Aldershot, Hampshire, GU12 4UH, United Kingdom for supplies and services related to the A/P22P-14 Series Respirator Assemblies on behalf of the United States Navy (USN) and Joint Program Executive Office Chemical Biological Radiological and Nuclear Defense. This effort also includes production, engineering, logistics support and technical data. Cam Lock, Ltd. is the manufacturer of the A/P22P-14 Series Respirators that are currently deployed throughout the fleet. However, all proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
