Fleet Logistics Center Puget Sound intends to solicit an Overhaul Kit, sole-sourced to OEM Curtiss-Wright Electro-Mechanical Corporation, because the parts are direct replacements for repairing the No. 1 high pressure air compressor onboard a vessel and the OEM has no authorized distributors. Interested companies may identify their interest and capability to respond, solely to help the Government determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement, and any decision not to compete remains within the Government’s discretion. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, bid, or proposal, as appropriate, for consideration. The Government will evaluate the offeror’s price for reasonableness and past performance as part of the responsibility determination under RFO 12.203.
