NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Puget Sound intends to solicit and award a firm fixed price, supply type contract for OEM Serco Flow Control Valves with only one source, Fairbanks Morse Defense, pursuant under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) on a sole source basis. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. The anticipated posting date of the solicitation will be on or about 09/18/2025 with a closing date on or about 09/22/2025. This requirement is being procured using FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13 procedures. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted on the System for Awards Management (SAM) SAM.Gov website: https://sam.gov/content/home. Prospective offerors may identify their interest and submit a capability statement prior to the solicitation closing date. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from the SAM.Gov website. The Government is not responsible for the inability to access the posted documents. A determination by the Government not to compete this action based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received in response to this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not pay for information received. No telephone or fax requests will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or faxed.
