NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Puget Sound (FLCPS), in support of Military Sealift Command, intends to procure Brand Name, Bergen Engines, direct replacement parts for the overhaul of the ships service diesel generator. This procurement will be solicited as brand name only, utilizing FAR Part 12 and 13.5 procedures. It is anticipated that a commercial, Firm Fixed-Price Supply Contract will be awarded. The solicitation N0040624R0007 will be posted to the sam.gov website on or about 14 December 2023 with the quotes due on or about 18 December 2023. Through its submission, the vendor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the System Award Management (SAM) database prior to submitting their offer, during performance and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make a vendor ineligible for award. Vendors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements via the Internet at https://www.sam.gov/portal/SAM. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation which shall be considered by FLCPS. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the sam.gov website: http://www.sam.gov.
