Solicitation of a firm, fixed-price, supply-type contract to procure technical representative services and approximately 60,000 sqft of type V or VI Class 2 , Grade B OR C, Composition 2 Paint. The anticipated posting date of the solicitation is on or about 10 March 2023. NAVSUP FLC Puget Sound intends to use a comparative evaluation in this procurement. The location of work to be performed at SRF & JRMC, Yokosuka, Japan. Qualified Products List (QPL) 24647 and QPL-24635 applies to the paint. There are currently three paint manufacturers who have qualified products to meet both QPLs and the technical representative must be an OEM certified representative for the paint to be supplied. Paint Supply Estimated Delivery: 7 June 2023 Technical representative performance will be 9 May 2023 through 31 January 24 with two one-month options, February 2024 and March 2024. QPLs are covered under FAR Part 9. Instructions concerning qualification procedures are included in the following publications: (1) Federal Standardization Manual, FSPM-0001. (2) Defense Standardization Manual 4120.24-M, Appendix2, as amended by Military Standards 961 and 962.
