NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Puget Sound, in support of the Military Sealift Command, will be soliciting a firm-fixed-price supply type contract for Sliding Block Chain hot dipped in accordance with Navy hot dip procedures. This will be solicited as a 100% Small Business Set Aside. Shipping terms will be FOB Destination to MSC SSU BATS San Diego, CA 92123. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be posted to the SAM.gov website on or about 21 July 2022 with proposals due by 27 July 2022. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted on the sam.gov website at: https://sam.gov/content/home. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring the site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for the inability of the Offeror to access the posted documents. A firm-fixed-price, supply type contract will be awarded in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13, Commercial and Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Evaluation will be conducted utilizing 52.212-2 Evaluation of Commercial Items. Offerors must be registered in SAM in order to receive a government award for this procurement. No telephone or fax requests will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/amendments will be mailed or faxed. Emailed completed solicitations are acceptable.
