Interested 8(a) participants are encouraged to request a copy of the solicitation as expeditiously as possible since the solicitation will be issued without further notice upon SBA acceptance of the requirement for the section 8(a) program Award of firm-fixed price SERVICE Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity type contract is anticipated. The requirement is to provide responsive, efficient, and reliable means of obtaining temporary contract labor support on an as-needed basis to meet the operational objectives at Ship Repair Facility and Japan Regional Maintenance Center (SRF-JRMC) Yokosuka and Sasebo, Japan, and various other outlying tenant commands located in Japan. NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Puget Sound is soliciting for services to upgrade existing King-Fisher alarm receivers, antennas, and repeaters in accordance with the solicitation specifications. The acquisition will be negotiated on a sole source basis with King-Fisher Co., Inc. per FAR 6.302-1 utilizing FAR Part 12 and Subpart 13.5, Commercial and Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals prior to the offer due date, which will be considered solely forthe purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
