As implemented by FAR Subpart 13.5 the government intends to award a two month plus one option month contract on a sole source basis to BAE pursuant to the authority of the Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items, 41 U.S.C. 1901. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals prior to offer due date, which will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The requirement will be procured using procedures for acquisition of commercial items under FAR Parts 12 and 13. The solicitation is expected to be posted on about 20 March 2020. This procurement is for services to provide warehouse support, logistics support and ammunition handling, storage and transportation support.. An ammunition certification program is required. The government estimates 22 personnel to fulfil this requirement. This requirement will be a six month bridge in order to allow enough time for a competitive acquisition. Period of performance is 01 April 2021 through 31 May 2021 with on option month at Naval Base Kitsap – Bangor, Silverdale WA 98315. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the beta.sam.gov website. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents. No telephone or FAX requests will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or FAXed
