NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Puget Sound (FLC PS) is soliciting for Chiller units. Specifications and technical requirements will be available through Beta.SAM.Gov and included in the solicitation. This requirement is being issued as solicitation for commercial items in accordance with Subpart 13.5 - Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items. This announcement constitutes the only pre-solicitation notice. The solicitation will be issued as request for quotation (RFQ) under document number N0040620R0033. Provisions and clauses in effect through the latest Federal Acquisition Circulars are included in the solicitation. The proposed solicitation will be 100% set aside for small business concerns. Applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 333415 and has a size standard of 1,250 employees. The Government requires FOB Destination pricing to Ship Repair Facility and Japan Regional Maintenance Center (SRF-JRMC), Yokosuka, Japan. Requirements and evaluation procedures are listed in the solicitation, which is required to be completely filled out and returned before the solicitation closes. All questions regarding this solicitation should be submitted in writing no later than 1200 Pacific Time five (5) days prior to the closing date. Failure to respond to this RFQ and associated amendments (if applicable) prior to the closing date and time established may render an offer non-responsive and result in rejection. Offerors are also advised that they provide the required representations and certifications electronically via the SAM website at https://www.sam.gov/SAM/. It is anticipated that solicitation N0040620R0033 will be available on or about 21 July 2020. The solicitation closing date is anticipated to be 28 July 2020. The actual date and time will be identified in the solicitation. Based upon market research, the Government is using the policies contained in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies and/or services.
