This is a sole-source FAR 6.302-1 requirement for 130 units of a flight-critical item, delivered FOB origin, with only Government-approved sources solicited because adequate competitive technical data/specifications are unavailable. New sources must obtain Government source approval and submit the detailed information required by the applicable NAVSUP WSS Source Approval Information Brochure with their proposal; offers missing required data or prior full-data submission documentation will not be considered. If source approval cannot be completed in time, award may proceed based on Fleet support needs. Interested parties may submit proposals, quotations, or capability statements, but this is not a request for competitive proposals and the Government will decide whether to compete based on responses. Military/federal specifications and standards are available via ASSIST-Online and DODSSP in Philadelphia, PA, though patterns, drawings, and purchase descriptions are not stocked at DODSSP.
