This is a sole-source procurement under FAR 6.302-1 for 75 each of a flight-critical item, with delivery FOB origin and early/incremental deliveries accepted. Only sources previously approved by the Government have been solicited, and the item requires engineering source approval by the design control activity before contract award. If you are not an approved source, you must submit the information required by the applicable NAVSUP WSS Source Approval Brochure with your offer; offers missing required data will not be considered. If source approval cannot be completed in time or approval requirements prevent timely delivery, the Government may proceed with award based on Fleet support needs. The Government is not using FAR Part 12 commercial-item procedures, though interested parties may identify commercial-item capability to the contracting officer.
