The Government requires 55 each of NSN 7R-1680-015708454-QE (TDP VER 001), delivered FOB origin. Competitive acquisition is not feasible because the data is unavailable or uneconomical and the item is flight critical, so only previously approved Government sources have been solicited and source approval is required prior to award. Unapproved sources must submit the information required by the applicable NAVSUP WSS Source Approval Information Brochure with their proposal; offers lacking required data will not be considered. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under FAR 6.302-1, though responsible sources may identify their interest and capability. FAR Part 12 commercial-item policies are not being used, but interested parties may identify commercial-item capability to the contracting officer.
