The requirement is for 26 EA of a flight-critical NSN 7R-5340-015226448-QE item (ref. 34206718-002), FOB origin. Government source approval is required prior to award because the item is flight critical and/or technical data is inadequate for full and open competition; only previously approved sources have been solicited. New sources must submit the required NAVSUP WSS Source Approval Information Brochure data with their proposal, and offers lacking all required data or proof of prior submission will not be considered. If source approval cannot be processed in time or approval requirements preclude timely delivery, award may proceed based on Fleet support needs. Qualification requirements must be met at time of award under FAR 52.209-1, and standardized documents are available through DODSSP/ASSIST.
