The Navy requires repair of a Camera, Heads Up Display (HUD), P/N 93-2040-100 / NSN 5821-01-529-7073, used on F/A-18 aircraft. The requirement is restricted sole-source to Photo-Sonics, Inc. (CAGE 02024), the OEM and only approved source, and work must be performed at its Chatsworth, CA facility. The contractor will repair, upgrade, test, and inspect units to Ready for Issue condition, supplying all necessary parts, materials, tooling, test equipment, and facilities unless Government Furnished Material is specifically identified. Quality requirements include ISO 9001/SAE AS9100, calibration to ANSI/NCSL Z540.3 or equivalent, configuration management, and proper storage/packaging. Induction expires 365 days after contract award, with assets received after that date not authorized for repair without bilateral agreement, and early/incremental deliveries are preferred.
