NAVSUP WSS seeks 55 each of NSN 7R-6130-014214773-GF, a flight-critical item, FOB origin, requiring Government source approval prior to contract award. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under FAR 6.302-1 because competitive data/specifications are unavailable and only previously approved sources have been solicited. Non-approved sources must submit the source approval information required by the applicable NAVSUP WSS Source Approval Brochure with their offer; offers missing required data or prior complete data submission will not be considered. If source approval cannot be completed in time for Government requirements, award may proceed based on Fleet support needs. FAR Part 12 commercial-item policies are not being used, but interested parties may identify commercial-item interest and capability to the contracting officer.
