The Government requires 7 EA of a flight-critical item (NSN 1R-1560-015663336-V2, TDP VER 001) with delivery FOB origin. Award requires Government source approval, and only previously approved sources have been solicited because the item is flight critical and/or the technical data is insufficient for full and open competition. The proposed contract action is intended to be sole-source under FAR 6.302-1, though responsible sources may identify their interest and capability or submit proposals, quotations, or capability statements. A non-approved source must include with its offer the information required by the applicable NAVSUP WSS Source Approval Brochure; offers lacking required data or proof of prior submission will not be considered. If source approval cannot be completed in time to meet Fleet support needs, award may proceed, and the Government is not using FAR Part 12 commercial-item procedures, though interested parties may identify commercial-item capability.
