This requirement is for 7 EA of a flight-critical part (NSN 1R-4910-004637383-SX, ref 64E33087-1) with delivery FOB origin. The part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity and must be acquired from Government-approved sources that retain essential design, manufacturing, or repair data; only previously approved sources have been solicited. A prospective bidder that is not an approved source must submit the source approval information required by the applicable NAVSUP WSS Source Approval Brochure with its proposal, and offers lacking all required data will not be considered. Award will be made only if the offeror, product/service, or manufacturer meets the qualification requirements at time of award under FAR 52.209-1. The Government is not using FAR Part 12 commercial-item procedures, though interested parties may identify commercial-item interest and capability to the contracting officer.
