The Navy requires repair, overhaul, upgrade, testing, inspection, and acceptance of a Control, Generator (P/N 1709959; NSN 7RH 6110 015854820 P8) in accordance with Hamilton Sundstrand drawing 73030 and referenced specifications, including MIL-STD-130 markings and MIL-STD-2073 packaging where applicable. Work must return units to Ready for Issue condition and will be performed at the contractor’s specified repair source/location: Hamilton Sundstrand Corp, 1007 E University Drive, Phoenix, AZ 85034-6513 (CAGE 0CAM5). The contractor must provide facilities, labor, materials, parts, tooling, and test equipment unless Government Furnished Material/Property is expressly provided, and must maintain ISO 9001/SAE AS9100 quality, calibration, configuration management, and purchased-parts controls. Special provisions cover Beyond Economical Repair, Missing on Induction, Over and Above Repair, and Shop Replaceable Assembly replacement, requiring DCMA verification and PCO authorization where specified. The order is issued under existing BOA/LTC terms and requires PCO approval for changes to manuals, drawings, specifications, repair sources, or facilities.

The requirement is for 15 EA of a flight-critical item, delivered FOB origin, and it requires Government engineering source approval prior to contract award to maintain part quality. Only Government-approved source(s) with unique design capability, manufacturing/repair knowledge, and data rights have been solicited; alternate sources must qualify through the design control activity. Non-approved sources must submit the information required by the applicable NAVSUP WSS Source Approval Information Brochure (Spares or Repair) with their offer, and incomplete submissions will not be considered. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under FAR 6.302-1, though responsible sources may identify interest/capability or submit proposals. Source approval delays may not prevent award from proceeding based on Fleet support needs.
