The Government intends to solicit and negotiate on a sole-source basis for 20 units of NSN 1R-0000-LLW14D193-QE, ref. 3091327-003, FOB origin, because it lacks sufficient, accurate, or legible data to purchase from other than the current source(s). Responsible sources may identify their interest and capability to respond or submit proposals, and may also identify commercial-item interest to the contracting officer. The item is flight critical and/or lacks adequate technical data, so Government source approval is required prior to award, and only previously approved sources have been solicited. Non-approved sources must submit the information required by the applicable NAVSUP WSS Source Approval Information Brochure with their proposal or document prior submission; offers lacking required data will not be considered. If source approval cannot be processed in time or approval requirements preclude timely delivery, award may proceed based on Fleet support needs.
