The Government requires eight each of an NSN 7R-1660-014833094-KB item (TDP VER 002), delivered FOB origin, and the item is flight critical with Government source approval required prior to contract award. Only sources previously approved by the Government have been solicited because the available technical data has not been determined adequate for full and open competition. If a bidder is not an approved source, it must submit the information required by the applicable NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support Source Approval Information Brochure together with its proposal; offers lacking the required data will not be considered. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under FAR 6.302-1, though all responsible sources may identify their interest and capability or submit proposals, quotations, or capability statements. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals, and market research indicates FAR Part 12 commercial-item policies are not being used, though interested parties may identify commercial-item interest and capability to the contracting officer.
