The requirement is for 11 units of a flight-critical item with FOB origin delivery, and Government source approval is required prior to contract award. Only previously approved sources have been solicited, and approval of a new source normally cannot delay award. Non-approved sources must submit the required source approval information with their proposal per the applicable NAVSUP WSS Source Approval Brochure; incomplete submissions will not be considered. If source approval cannot be processed in time or approval requirements preclude timely delivery, award may proceed based on Fleet support needs. Award is contingent on meeting the applicable qualification requirements at time of award under FAR 52.209-1.
