This pre-solicitation synopsis covers repair of two Scan Converter Processor Assemblies (NSN 7RH 1680 016575675 E7, P/N H363025-3) for Foreign Military Sales to Japan. Repair is sole source to Raytheon (CAGE 1LZU1); the Government intends to negotiate under FAR 6.302-1, but all responsible sources may submit capability statements, proposals, or quotations. Only the previously approved source will be solicited, and new sources must obtain Government source approval before award by submitting NAVSUP WSS Source Approval Information Brochure for Repair data with their proposal; incomplete source-approval submissions will not be considered. Approval of a new source normally cannot delay award, and award may proceed based on Fleet support needs if source approval cannot be processed in time.
