58--MODEM,COMMUNICATION, IN REPAIR/MODIFICATION OF
This requirement is for overhaul, repair, upgrade, testing, inspection, and acceptance of a communication modem (P/N 60039194-008; NSN 7RH 1680 016429363 P8) to Ready for Issue condition in accordance with L3 Technologies drawing 60039194-008 and referenced manuals/specifications. Government source approval is required prior to award, and non-approved sources must submit the NAVSUP WSS Source Approval Brochure information with their proposal or risk being ineligible; if approval cannot be processed in time, award may proceed based on fleet support needs. The contractor is responsible for the facility, labor, materials, parts, test/tooling, and quality/calibration systems (ISO 9001/SAE AS9100 and ANSI/NCSL Z540.3 or equivalent) unless Government Furnished Property is expressly provided. Repairs/upgrades must be performed at the facility identified in the SOW, with the listed repair source/location being L3 Technologies, 640 N 2200 W, Salt Lake City, UT 84116-3925. The SOW also covers configuration management, MIL-STD-130 markings, MIL-STD-2073 packaging, storage, and special handling for Beyond Economical Repair, Missing on Induction, and Over and Above Repair items with DCMA/PCO concurrence.
