The Government requires 424 each of a commercial/off-the-shelf, flight-critical item (NSN 7R-1660-010140576-P8, TDP VER 001), delivered FOB Origin. This acquisition is limited to previously approved Government sources because source approval is required prior to award and the available technical data does not support full and open competition. New sources must submit the required NAVSUP WSS Source Approval Information Brochure data with their proposal, and offers missing all required data or prior submission documentation will not be considered. The new-source approval process normally cannot be completed in time to delay award, and award may proceed based on Fleet support needs if approval cannot be processed in time.
