This is a sole-source Navy requirement for repair of 22 units of NIIN 016018116 (Display Unit, P/N 7025 01-601-8116), limited to the current source unless a prospective offeror obtains Government Source Approval prior to award by submitting all required Source Approval Brochure data with its proposal. The contractor must perform repair, upgrade, testing, and inspection at the identified facility: L-3 Communications Avionics Sys, 5353 52nd Street SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49512. The contractor is responsible for facilities, labor, materials, parts, tooling, and test equipment unless Government Furnished Property/Material is expressly provided, and must maintain ISO 9001/SAE AS9100 quality and calibration systems. Proposals must remain valid for at least 120 days following submission, and a 12-month warranty applies with defects to be reported within 60 days of discovery. The Government lacks sufficient, accurate, or legible data to contract with any source other than the current source. These items require Government Source Approval prior to award; non-approved sources must submit the information detailed in the NAVSUP WSS Source Approval Brochure with their proposal or their offers will not be considered.
