The Navy intends to award a sole-source contract to Rockmart Fuel Containment LLC for 62 aircraft fuel tanks, as the OEM and only known source with the necessary data. The government does not own the data or rights needed to buy from other sources, and no drawings are available. Any non-approved manufacturer must obtain Source Approval, but the procurement will not be delayed for that approval.
