This requirement is for repair/overhaul, upgrade, testing, and inspection of Turret FLIR Units (NSN 1680-01-671-5197, P/N 3290006-216), with an initial quantity of 40 units and option pricing for up to 80 units total over the contract period. The induction period for initial units is 365 calendar days from contract award, with the Government reserving the right to extend by an additional 365 days, for a total of two years; unused initial-year induction slots may carry into the second year. If pricing changes after the first 365 days, separate second-year pricing must be provided. The contractor is responsible for supplying all parts, materials, tooling, test equipment, and facilities unless specifically identified as Government Furnished, and repairs must be performed at the identified repair source/location: FLIR Systems, Inc., 27700 SW Parkway Ave, Wilsonville, OR 97070. Contractors must maintain an ISO 9001/SAE AS9100 quality system and return items to Ready for Issue condition per approved manuals/drawings, with the Government reserving the right to place the initial order for any number of units up to the specified maximum.

This requirement is for 40 units of NSN 7R-1680-016715197-YR, with delivery FOB origin. The item is flight critical and requires Government source approval; only previously approved sources have been solicited, and new source approval cannot delay award. Alternate sources must qualify in accordance with design control activity procedures approved by the cognizant Government engineering activity. If you are not an approved source, your proposal must include all data required by the NAVSUP WSS Source Approval Brochure or evidence of prior submission of that data. The Government is not using FAR Part 12 commercial item acquisition procedures for this requirement.
