This is a sole-source procurement for a flight-critical item that requires Government source approval, and only previously approved sources have been solicited. The Government intends to award to Tactair Fluid Controls Inc under FAR 6.302-1. Any other responsible source must submit a complete source approval request with all required technical data per the NAVSUP WSS Source Approval Brochure; otherwise, it will not be considered. The time required for approving a new source normally prevents delaying award for that approval. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability, but the Government may proceed with the sole-source award based on fleet support needs.
