NAVSUP WSS seeks repair/overhaul/upgrade of an aircraft fan fairing, NSN 1680016596899, P/N 314-2100-4, in accordance with Rohr Inc. drawing 314-2100-4 (latest revision) and applicable repair manuals, returning the item to Ready for Issue condition. Contractors must provide the facility, labor, materials, parts, tooling, testing, and inspections, and may quote either a firm-fixed price or estimated repair costs. The contractor must specify the repair source/division and actual work location, with the referenced repair source being Rohr Inc. at 850 Lagoon Dr, Chula Vista, CA 91910-2001; repairs/upgrades must be performed at the facility identified in the SOW. The contractor is responsible for all parts and materials unless Government Furnished Material is specified, and must maintain ISO 9001/SAE AS9100 quality, calibration, configuration management, and proper storage. A warranty applies for one year after delivery and for defects discovered within 45 days, and the SBA has determined that no small business set-aside is applicable.

This is a commercial, off-the-shelf item for which the government requires source approval prior to award due to its flight-critical nature; only previously approved sources have been solicited. If you are not an approved source, you must submit detailed source approval information as specified in the NAVSUP WSS Source Approval Brochure, or your offer will not be considered. The government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under FAR 6.302-1, but all responsible sources may express interest and capability. Award will only be made if the offeror, product, or manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award.
