48--VALVE,FLOW CONTROL, IN REPAIR/MODIFICATION OF
The effort covers repair, overhaul, upgrade, test, and inspection of a flow control valve (NSN 4820-01-495-3710, P/N 3291378-3-1) to Honeywell drawing 3291378-3-1 and applicable manuals/specifications; MIL-W-81381 wire is prohibited and SAE-AS22759 series wire must be used instead. The contractor must supply the facility, labor, materials, parts, and test/tooling equipment needed to return the item to Ready for Issue condition, unless Government Furnished Material is expressly provided, with new parts required absent approval and cannibalization requiring specific authorization. Repair/upgrade work must be performed at the facility identified in the SOW, with the listed repair source/location being Honeywell International Inc., Engine Systems & Accessories ESA, 1300 W Warner Road, Tempe, AZ 85285-2200. The contractor must maintain quality, calibration, configuration management, receiving inspection, nonconforming material, and recordkeeping systems meeting ISO 9001/SAE AS9100 and specified military/commercial standards, subject to Government review and approval. Special provisions cover Beyond Economical Repair, Missing on Induction, Over and Above Repair, DCMA concurrence, and possible Government repair assessment testing; early and incremental deliveries are accepted.
