This contract covers the repair, overhaul, testing, inspection, and acceptance of Control, Electric LI units (NSN 6220-013024410) to return them to Ready for Issue (RFI) condition. The contractor is responsible for all facilities, labor, materials, parts, and tooling, and must perform all work at the specified location: GE Aviation Systems LLC, 740 E National Road, Vandalia, OH 45377-3000, with inspection on contractor-owned equipment. Strict quality and configuration requirements apply, including ISO 9001/AS9100 quality management, ANSI/NCSL Z540.3 calibration, and Government approval for any changes to repair procedures, drawings, or sources. Use of MIL-W-81381 wire is prohibited; SAE-AS22759 wire must be substituted, and delivered units carry a warranty of 365 days after delivery with defects reported within 45 days. Items requiring beyond-economical-repair, missing-on-induction, or over-and-above repair determinations are handled separately with DCMA/PCO involvement and are not included in the base contract price.

Sole source procurement for 25 units of an NSN item with delivery FOB origin and a requested repair turnaround time of 136 days. The item requires government source approval; only previously approved sources have been solicited, and new sources must submit the data required by the NAVSUP WSS Source Approval Information Brochure.
