This is a repair/upgrade, test, inspection, and return-to-Ready-for-Issue effort for the CONTROL COLUMN,AIRC (P/N 185800-115; NSN 7RH 1680 014752008) in accordance with applicable technical drawings and specifications. The contractor must provide the facility, labor, materials, parts, test/tooling equipment, and an ISO 9001/SAE AS9100 quality system; the Government will not provide NAVAIR manuals or drawings, and a 100% repair rate is required on all CLIN carcasses. BER, MOI, OAR, cannibalization, and nonconforming material dispositions require DCMA/QAR verification and PCO approval or authorization as specified. The SOW identifies the repair source/location as Curtiss Wright Controls Inc., 3120 Northwest Blvd, Gastonia, NC 28052-1167, and repairs/upgrades must be performed at the facility identified in the SOW. A warranty applies for 365 days from 45 days after the last delivery under the contract.

This is a flight-critical item for quantity 15, with delivery on a FOB origin basis. Only sources previously approved by the Government will be solicited because engineering source approval is required to maintain part quality and data rights are retained by approved sources. Any new source must submit the detailed information required by the NAVSUP WSS Source Approval Brochure, and offers without all required data will not be considered. The approval process cannot delay award, and award may proceed based on Fleet support needs if approval cannot be processed in time. Commercial item acquisition procedures are not being used, but interested parties may identify their capability to supply a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.
