Only sources previously approved by the Government will be solicited because engineering source approval is required to maintain part quality and data rights are retained by approved sources. Any new source must submit the detailed information required by the NAVSUP WSS Source Approval Brochure, and offers without all required data will not be considered. The approval process cannot delay award, and award may proceed based on Fleet support needs if approval cannot be processed in time. Commercial item acquisition procedures are not being used, but interested parties may identify their capability to supply a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.
