The Navy intends to award a sole-source repair contract to Undersea Sensor Systems Inc. for 21 units of a preamplifier (NIIN 015855400, P/N 5798-8000-001) used on P8 aircraft, as the OEM and only known source with no available drawings/data. Interested parties may submit capability statements, but the source approval process will not delay the procurement. The contract will have a one-year duration with an anticipated award in December 2026.
