The Navy requires repair/overhaul, upgrade, testing, inspection, and return-to-Ready-for-Issue of V/UHF AIU EXTENDED units (P/N 86400-1; NSN 5895-01-630-0207) in accordance with Pole/Zero Acquisition Inc. drawings and repair manuals. The contractor must furnish all facilities, labor, materials, parts, and test/tooling unless Government-furnished property is expressly identified, with work performed at the specified repair source/location: Pole/Zero Acquisition Inc., 5558 Union Centre Drive, West Chester, OH 45069-4821. Required turnaround time is 44 days after receipt of each asset, with a contractor-provided monthly throughput constraint after initial delivery and an induction expiration date 365 days after contract award; early and incremental deliveries are accepted/preferred. The contractor must maintain an ISO 9001/SAE AS9100 quality system, an acceptable calibration system, configuration management, and comply with MIL-STD-130 marking and MIL-STD-2073 packaging requirements. Special provisions address Beyond Economical Repair, Missing on Induction, Over and Above Repair, and require PCO/DCMA approvals or concurrences for certain repairs, deviations, or source changes.

This requirement is for 13 units of an NSN item with delivery FOB origin. The item is flight critical and requires engineering source approval; only government-approved sources are being solicited. An alternate source must qualify through government-approved procedures, and if not already approved, must submit all required source approval data with an offer. The government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under FAR 6.302-1, but all responsible sources may express interest or submit capability statements. This is not a commercial item acquisition.
