This Navy requirement is for overhaul, upgrade, repair, testing, inspection, and acceptance of Booster Assembly, AI (P/N 340-001-320-0; NSN 1680016997330) to Ready for Issue condition. The contractor must supply the facility, labor, materials, parts, test/tooling equipment, and maintain quality, calibration, configuration management, marking, and packaging controls, using ISO 9001/SAE AS9100 and applicable MIL-STD requirements. Required repair turnaround time is 170 days after receipt of asset, induction expires 365 days after contract award, and warranty coverage is 12 months with defects reported within 60 days after discovery. Repairs/upgrades must be performed at the facility identified in the SOW, listed as General Electric, 201 W Crescentville Rd, Cincinnati, OH 42246. Items determined Beyond Economical Repair, Missing on Induction, or Over and Above Repair require DCMA/PCO coordination and may be excluded from or adjusted outside the contract price.

The Government requires 13 each of a flight-critical part (NSN 7R-1680-016997330-F7, TDP VER 001) with delivery FOB Origin. The current design is unstable, has low process yield or marginal performance, and is expected to undergo major changes that will make the present configuration obsolete. Because the item requires Government source approval and available technical data does not support full-and-open competition, only previously approved sources have been solicited, and new-source approval is normally too lengthy to delay award. If you are not an approved source, you must submit the information required by the applicable NAVSUP WSS Source Approval Brochure (Spares or Repair) with your offer, including any cover letter if your source approval request is already under evaluation. Failure to provide required source approval data will make an offer ineligible, and award may proceed based on Fleet support needs if approval cannot be completed in time; Free Trade Agreements and WTO GPA clauses may also apply.
