81--CYLINDER,COMPRESSED, IN REPAIR/MODIFICATION OF
The Navy requires repair/overhaul, upgrade, testing, inspection, and return-to-ready-for-issue service for compressed cylinders (P/N 808158-01; NSN 7RH 8120 016571545 P8) in accordance with AVOX Systems drawings/specifications and MIL-STD-130 markings. Work must be performed at the specified repair source/location: AVOX-EROS Services, 6734 Valjean Ave, Van Nuys, CA 91406-58182, with the contractor supplying all facilities, labor, materials, parts, tooling, and test equipment unless Government-furnished property is expressly provided. The required repair turnaround time is 70 days after receipt of each asset, and assets received after the induction expiration date of 365 days after contract award are not authorized for repair without bilateral agreement. The contractor must maintain ISO 9001/SAE AS9100 quality, calibration, configuration management, storage, and parts-control systems, and provide a 12-month warranty of noncomplex supplies with defect discovery within 60 days. Nonconforming conditions such as BER, MOI, OAR, or SRA replacement require DCMA/PCO notification, verification, and approval before proceeding, and early/incremental deliveries are accepted and preferred.
